How to useTake this medication exactly as prescribed. If the capsules can not be swallowed, the liquid inside the capsule may be taken out and given through a feeding tube. For best results, this medication must be started within 4 days of the brain hemorrhage and given every 4 hours for 3 weeks.

Missed DoseTry to take each dose at the scheduled time. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
